Time over for me, Julia, and welcome “back” Annette! I ran The Crowsnest last season and must say it was a awesome experience and I had a wonderful time! Now I’m back in Christchurch and Annette will run things again.
She is looking forward to a big good season and I’m sure it will be a good summer! For sure I will come for visit!
The Crowsnest is such a wonderful place to stay and with the new hot tub even more a reason to relax the night there and get refreshed back on the bike the next day.
I wish Annette all the best and all guests a wonderful stay in the beautiful and unique CROWSNEST!
NOW OPEN !!!

That was in Mai 2010.
End of my season.

Only 3 weeks to go for me… It will be hard for me to leave as i really felt in LOVE with this place, Oturehua and Central Otago.
Last week the Crow’s Nest was fully booked every night and we had great people staying here!!
The days and nights are now getting colder and I’m impressed by the people who still turn up in tents.

We explored lots of the off road tracks and saw heaps of Central Otago.
A very nice area and wonderful views all around.

All people just loved the Crow’s Nest! It is a very nice and relaxing place. The view is so beautiful…
If you haven’t stayed in the Crow’s Nest, hurry up!

I was so impressed by my last guest…
Colin lost one of his leg in an accident years ago.
It’s not about what you can’t do, it’s about what you can do!
He is cycling the Rail Trail like everyone else.
He has a bike with a little battery motor just in caseĀ the hill is to steep.
He is cycling with a clip-on and I guess his leg is very strong!
Well done Colin!!!
Al the best for you and the others! It was a very nice to meet you!

The Crow’s Nest is a great place to stay on the Rail Trail. And we have enough room for bigger groups!
Like the group a couple of days ago who enjoyed the stay in the Crow’s Nest and had a nice dinner in the
Oturehua TavernĀ just across the road.
